Early Career
The Ritz-Carlton taught me that details win customers.
I started my career in luxury hotels — the Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, the Lancaster Boutique Hotel in Houston. These were places where every single detail mattered and exceptional service wasn’t optional, it was the minimum standard.
That experience shaped how I approach every client relationship today. The follow-through, the communication, the obsession with getting the details right — that’s all Ritz-Carlton DNA.
The Year 2000
Nobody knew what SEO was. I fell in love with it anyway.
When I became a stay-at-home mom, I thought my career chapter was closed. Then a former employer called — they were starting an internet marketing company for hotels and needed someone who understood the business.
It was the year 2000. If you knew how to add the right meta keywords, you could rank a website overnight. (Wild, right?) I started learning everything I could about websites, Google, and online visibility — and I never stopped.
I didn’t fall in love with the technology. I fell in love with what it could do for a business.
2009 — Founded
Small businesses were getting burned. I built a better way.
By 2009, I’d spent years in hotel marketing — but I kept seeing the same frustrating pattern everywhere else: small businesses being sold SEO snake oil, paying for “rankings” that never came, getting monthly reports full of jargon and zero accountability.
So I started SEOisLocal with a simple mission: show local business owners exactly what’s being done, why it works, and actually deliver leads — not just rankings. Transparency over buzzwords. Results over reports.
2024 — The Pivot
I went all in on sunroom contractors — and it changed everything.
After years of working with dozens of local businesses across different industries, one stood out: sunroom contractors. They build incredible products but are completely invisible online. They don’t have time to chase reviews or manage SEO — they’re on job sites. And the marketing companies they hired almost always let them down.
I knew exactly how to fix it. So I launched Sunroom Contractor Marketing — a full-service system combining niche SEO, GHL-powered automation, and reputation management built specifically for sunroom dealers. It’s the most impactful work I’ve ever done.
Today
Based in Waco, TX. Serving clients across the U.S.
Some of my clients have been with me for over a decade. That says more about results than anything I could write here. I run a small, focused team — every strategy is personal, every client gets my attention, and I never take on more than I can serve well.
I’m not the biggest agency. I’m the most invested one. And at the end of the day, that’s what actually moves the needle for local businesses.

Results over rankings.
Traffic doesn't pay the bills. Leads do. Every strategy we build is measured against one question: did the phone ring more? Did more customers walk through the door?
Local businesses deserve better.
You shouldn't have to compete with shady lead resellers or waste money on generic national campaigns. Local businesses are the backbone of communities — they deserve real strategy, not packaged nonsense.
AI is a tool, not a replacement.
